about

Founded in the summer of 2012, moth are a Cornwall based alternative rock band who experiment with dynamics and rhythm. All 3 members study Music Technology at Falmouth University, and their love of creating and sculpting new sounds in the studio effortlessly translates onto guitar, bass and drums.

The band shapes subtle melodies and sometimes sporadic movements into refreshing compositions. Their fondness for jamming irregular time signatures extends as a basis of the songs they perform, exploiting the use of effects pedals, gang-vocals and extended techniques.
